HOTWORX Scenario:
HOTWORX North Scottsdale was a startup in 2020. Like other fitness centers in the Phoenix area, they had to be completely shut down for a few weeks.

Because this location was what the IRS considers a "startup" and a franchise location, we weren't sure if we would be able to claim any ERTC money. But we were able to claim $13,000 for them.
Kasia was doubly-frustrated during the COVID shutdown, because not only did she have to keep her studio closed, she also had to keep paying rent and franchise fees! This ERTC money will restore some of that money lost.
